Frequently asked questions.
What are your rates?
The cost of a shoot is going to wildly depend on what the creative goals are. The elements that affect pricing are :
scope of the project (ie. how big of a team do I need to achieve what you want?)
usage (ie. how long do you need to use the images and where?)
post production time (ie. do the concepts or ask require a lot of special edits or are they more straightforward?)
The more info you give me about your project in your inquiry, the more accurately I can give you a quote!
Do you work alone?
Occasionally, yes, but I believe it’s often that you get the best product and more bang for your buck with a team.
What is the process of working with you?
If you have a creative deck already, that’s helpful - if not I can jump in as creative director on the project and that’s great too. Once we align on the goals and aesthetics of your project, we can tailor the shoot to match. From there you’ll be involved every step of the way with mood board approvals, shoot deck approvals, and live approvals on set. That way you’re walking away with exactly what you want! After the shoot it’s off to post-production and the final deliverables.
What is usage?
as the photographer, I own the rights to every image I shoot. So as part of the project you’ll buy the rights to the images for a certain amount of time and for certain use cases. With how quickly new images are needed in our current world, I usually include 1-3 years of usage in my rate, because likely you’ll need different images by the end of that timeline!
